Join the Band
Since June 2008 Norwich Samba has changing the way we induct into the band. We have been running a weekly 'induction' class before the full band rehearsal on Tuesdays. People are welcome to just come along and have a go, but if you want to join the band you will be expected to attend this class regularly over a number of months.
Day: Tuesdays
Time: 6.30 to 8pm
Venue: John Innes Centre Refectory, Colney Lane, Norwich (close to the N&N Hospital).
Cost: £5 (£3 concs) / session
To get to the John Innes Centre, take the Watton Road out of Norwich (Earlham Road), past UEA and Eaton Park. At the second set of traffic lights turn left towards the Norwich & Norfolk Hospital. Go into the righthand lane and almost immediately, turn right at the next set of lights into the JI Centre. The recreation centre is at the bottom of the hill on the right.
Min age 15yrs. No experience necessary.
